Rev. Emily Rhodes Hunter currently serves as a chaplain with Montgomery Hospice, a parish associate at New York Avenue Presbyterian in Washington, DC, and a Sexual Assault Response Advocate through Doorways for Women and Families. Prior to these positions, Emily has served as a chaplain at VCU Medical Center and a pastoral intern at Ginter Park Presbyterian, both in Richmond, VA.
Emily holds both a Masters of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary and a Masters of Science in Patient Counseling through VCU. She earned her B.A. in English literature from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she also played NCAA basketball and softball.
Emily enjoys reading, long distance running, cuddling with her two new kittens, and spending time with her husband, Stuart.
